Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to participate in the classroom, and they love to make art. I also have a few students in need of intensive support with phonics to learn their letter sounds and names. This project addresses all of these needs!
With your support, my students will be able to participate even more actively in math, phonics, and art.
I look forward to having students work problems out and share their thinking on white boards, with their brightly colored tempera paintings smiling down from the walls. I'm also grateful for the opportunity to add to my materials for small group reading intervention—the magnetic tiles and letter cards will allow me to focus on sound-spelling connections with students in a more engaging and tactile way than I'm able to now.
