Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, curious, and eager to explore the world through art and imagination. They come from diverse backgrounds, and many of them don’t always have access to the resources needed to express themselves creatively. This project will provide them with washable markers, blank sketchbooks, and fine-tip Sharpie markers to foster their artistic abilities and allow their imaginations to come to life.
By having access to these materials, my students will be able to experiment with color, practice fine motor skills, and build confidence in their creative talents.
These resources will also support cross-curricular learning by incorporating art into writing, science, and social studies projects. My goal is to nurture their unique perspectives and give them the tools to express their thoughts and ideas visually.
What makes my students special is their determination to succeed, even when faced with challenges. They show up eager to learn, explore, and create every day. With these supplies, they’ll have the opportunity to engage in meaningful artistic experiences that inspire growth, collaboration, and pride in their work.
