My Project
Navigating the demands of high school can be challenging.
Mindfulness journals, art supplies, sensory tools, mindfulness coloring books, and counseling resources will help make small-group and individual counseling sessions for high school students fun and engaging.
Students will learn self-efficacy skills, such as self-advocacy and goal setting along with coping techniques to help reduce worry and stress. Students will also be encouraged to use strategies learned during sessions at home and in school and to report back their success stories. The goal is that the techniques and strategies learned will become life-long skills for my students.
