In my carpentry class, I've developed the "Earn Your Edge" toolbox program, where students earn the tools they need by passing their national certification exams.
One essential tool for their toolbox is a set of construction math reference guides.
These guides will provide my students with easy access to important formulas, measurements, and conversions - helping them tackle real-world math problems on the job site and in the classroom.
The goal of this project is to help students develop both their math skills and their ability to apply these skills in carpentry. By having these reference cards on hand, students can quickly look up critical information without interrupting their workflow.
With your support, these reference materials will give students the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in carpentry while helping them build a strong foundation in math that will serve them throughout their careers.
