My Students

On any given day, you will see my students engaged in the curriculum with huge smiles on their faces. My amazing school has to be one of the most fascinating schools in the country with over 45 languages spoken. There are seven different languages spoken in my classroom alone.

My students are a diverse group of 4th graders who are full of personality.

Though almost all qualify for free or reduced-price lunches and come from some hard upbringings, it does not stop their desire to smile, have fun, and learn.

My Project

The main priority of this school year is to keep students and teachers safe so we can stay in school and stay healthy! This will also keep teachers' out-of-pocket costs down, as buying quality masks and cleaners adds up quickly.

With the new variant and students returning from winter break, masks and cleaning products are vital to keeping learning in person and safe.

Students often need to switch masks during the day. There are also times students come to schools without quality masks and having extras on hand is essential. Masks are a new school supply but are just as essential as pencils.

We can't count on our classrooms being cleaned, so we as teacher have had to disinfect and clean our rooms with cleaners like Clorox wipes, lysol, and fabric antibacterial for carpets to keep them germ free. With cleaning products and books that teach about germs, we can do our best to stay safe.
