Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of my students have few books, magazines, or other educational materials at home, so it's crucial that they experience every possible advantage at school. I teach 24 students, some of whom are special needs.
My students must wear masks daily.
These cloth masks will make mask wearing fun! As a teacher at a high-poverty school, I am convinced that my students will excel when provided with quality materials and instruction. I know that when they are immersed in engaging learning activities, they will thrive!
My Project
Let's add a little fun to our COVID era classroom! These colorful reusable masks will brighten our day, and help the kids to fulfill the requirement that they mask up so that we can reduce the spread of the virus. Additionally, they will help reduce the use of disposable masks, thus helping the environment a bit.
These masks are perfect for kindergarten; they are very colorful and related to coloring which is a favorite activity.
These masks will add a happy element to our day. If we have to wear masks, they may as well be fun!
