This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my school are creative, thoughtful, and incredibly kind! They absolutely love hands-on, active, and engaging projects. They come to school every day eager to learn and with a positive attitude.
My kids have chosen to come to our school for a hands-on educational experience.
An educational experience in which their culture and lifestyles will be embraced in the classroom. Each one of my students is unique, but that's what makes our classroom community all that much better.
My Project
Our students will be returning to school this Fall and we are in need of face masks. Students and staff will be required to wear face masks all day. Having face masks on hand in the event that a student forgets theirs at home will provide everyone on campus the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. Having a thermometer to check temperatures and command hooks to stick to the side of their desk to hang their lanyards and extra masks will be helpful for my students as well.
Having a mask is a new way of being safe that no one has dealt with in the past and we want our students to feel safe and have access to face masks if they need one.
Health and safety need to be a priority in this new and changing time. Ensuring a safe learning environment is our number one priority!
