Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
For most of my Kindergarten students, this is their first school experience. They were around 3 - 3 1/2 when the Pandemic started. But they are a wonderful group of students who are so excited about being in school. Most of them are second language learners and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
I teach Kindergarten at a Title I school in Southern California and they deserve the very best.
We are a school of very diverse cultures, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds. And because this is their first school experience, I want them to have everything they need.
My Project
I want my students, my aide, myself, and everyone around us to stay as healthy as possible while this Pandemic still goes on. Having the KN95 face masks available helps to prevent the virus to spread in the classroom.
As the coronavirus spreads throughout the USA (now with the new variant (omicron) being more transmissible) we need to keep our youth safe and do our best to keep them and our surroundings safe.
As with the new omicron being more transmissible, the KN95 masks will provide more layers of protection, more specifically 5 layers of protection. which help fight these germs and help prevent the spread of the virus.
