My Students

My students dive into learning everyday. They are excited to learn new things, and are encouraged by big and small successes. They are classroom and global citizens who are curious about the world. They are eager to apply all they know in every opportunity they get.

The beauty of our student body is it's diversity.

Students come from various cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and types of learners. Because of it's diversity, students are not only learning from their teachers but also from their peers.

My Project

My students are really excited about singing and learning new and old nursery rhymes. Singing in the classroom promotes language development and confidence. Students are shy at first when learning new songs. However, once they catch on to the tunes, they become vibrant!

I would like to supplement singing in the classroom with musical instruments, such as recorders.

Students will enjoy singing and playing to classic tunes such as, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Old McDonald Had a Farm and Baa Baa Black Sheep.

Also, learning how to play a recorder at a young age will encourage students to learn through music. It is the perfect time for them to explore their musical talents.
