My Project
Kindergarteners build their understanding of concepts by using manipulatives. My students love learning new things. These manipulatives will add to their love of learning and be used during small group centers and our whole group mini math lessons.
Having the hundreds board and number line will help my students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The ten frames will support their learning by using concrete representations to help build their understanding of mathematical concepts. My kindergarteners will build their understanding of mathematical concepts while staying engaged by using these tools. Using the Play-Doh and tens frames will help students build number sense and learning by doing helps students retain what they have learned.
