Help me give my students ten frame magnetic answer boards, dry erase markers, and dry erasers to help them better understand math concepts and make math time fun during distance learning!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are sweet, respectful, and enthusiastic young souls that are eager to learn and expand their knowledge! They are giving it their all every day and are the proud winners of our school's first perfect attendance award for the month of August!
My Project
These materials will help make learning from home more engaging and exciting for my students! Students will be using these materials daily in our math meetings in zoom to display their answers and their thinking.
Having all students have the appropriate materials at home will increase student participation and will also work to fortify their number sense skills and concepts.
As all students participate, they will decrease their math anxiety and will be more willing to engage in math lessons in a non-threatening way. Utilizing a magnetic answer board during math time will help create marvelous mathematicians, for sure!
