Help me give my students new and exciting math centers that focus on addition.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Toner's classroom raised $255

My Students
The section of the city where I teach is a very low-economic area with minimal family involvement. Many have limited resources. However, they make up for that with their personalities and eagerness.
Many of my students come into school without previous education, minimal basic skills, and minimal supplies, but are eager and willing to work hard to learn all they can.
In order for my students to succeed and thrive, we need to have a safe and inviting environment. In order to do this, we need centers that are exciting and new, basic everyday materials that are readily available for the classroom and for home.
My Project
These new centers will add to my growing math center collection. I made my own math centers over the years and they have slowly started to rip and many have gone missing or lost pieces. In addition, my students have become less excited when I pull out their math centers currently. With these new centers I can guarantee they will bring a new excitement among my students when it is math time and will also encourage their math skills in small groups. Addition is a major concept that transitions into the real world and many of my students go to the corner store to buy food before school. Being able to add will definitely help them when they are adding up how much money they can spend/need at the store.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
