My Students

Third grade students are eager to learn and grow. Most students want to try new things and practice is the key to help their young minds explore math concepts introduced in the classroom.

I hope my third grade students will continue to love learning and will be challenged by working toward reinforcing math lessons.

They will explore new content in the areas of numbers and operations, geometry, measurement and data, and geometric measurement. These skills are essential for mastery of third grade content and being ready to move on to the next grade for next year.

My Project

My students will use the VersaTiles Math Classroom kit to review content in lessons during small group instruction. They will be able to practice math related skills using the Versa Tiles and self-check their answers creating unique puzzles with the tiles.

Versa Tiles helps build math proficiency in a challenging and rewarding way.

During small groups, students will have an opportunity to practice areas of math that gives them the greatest difficulty. They are able to practice and self-check in a fun way. The classroom kit is self-paced, so students that understand content can move forward and students that need extra direct instruction can be led by the teacher in short mini-lessons to review needed skills to complete the lessons.
