This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school eager to learn. Our school community works hard to provide the best possible education for our students! There are over 500 students in our school. Many of the students are English Language Learners. There are 15 different language groups in my school. Giving our students a hands-on learning experience will enrich their education!

In my fourth grade classroom, we celebrate our diversity! We love to learn new concepts!

My Project

My students are learning about magnetism and our in need of supplies that will allow them to discover on their own and in groups the scientific principles of magnetism.

We will be having a Science Fair and my students will create their own projects.

We need magnets of all kinds in order for my students to get a hands on experience. I want to give my students an opportunity to create a magnetism project for Our Science Fair. Learning hands on is a strategy that I try to incorporate in all of my lessons. It is the one way where students of different languages can excel!
