Marvel X-Men Arcade Group Reward Activity - Best Classroom Ever
Help me give my students the chance to go beyond the gauntlet of middle school. I want to be able to enhance the positive rewards and PBIS practices in combination with my comic book club.

My Project
This may be a longshot but I am hoping that someone out there is going to give my students the chance to play the X-Men Arcade game in a full size Arcade box as a positive reward and activity in my Graphic Novel Club. My classroom is filled with posters of superheroes and student work and is only missing an Arcade game. This X-Men Arcade game hosts 4 players and has some extras built in.
I want to step outside of the box and try to have a gaming center where students who gain the opportunity can come to my classroom during lunch, join the Graphic Novel club, or before school to read books, look at comics, enjoy comics and anime media, and play the arcade game together.
Some of my best memories were going to a bodega that had some arcade games (including the X-Men arcade) and playing or even just watching my friends play (we did not always have quarters...or any more for that matter) I want to create those memories for students by including something they enjoy and something that will work as a motivational tool, not only to get them to complete tasks but also show up on time to class or during down times for extra help and some fun.
Many of my students are stressed with the burdens of state tests, taking early regents exams, or keeping up with assignments. I keep my coursework rigorous but try to alleviate the stress by keeping a vibrant environment and enabling the students to think differently about reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
How better to promote collaboration amongst diverse students than 4-player gaming with Marvel heroes?
