Marvel Math

Help me give my students to strengthen their math skills. They will use the graphing and array chart and math journals to help them to learn new strategies in order to help them to solve math problems.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Every morning we will start our day by having Success Time and character education and sharing how we have a positive growth mindset in order to develop a classroom community. We will also share how we are polite, positive, and productive. We will share how we improve in order to positive learning enviroment.

My students need math games so that they can strengthen their math skills every day.

This is my first year teaching in Prince George's County Public Schools with low-income children. The students will be in school from the beginning of September to the middle of June.

My students are active and ask many questions about everything. My school is a charter school. My students will be ready to learn with the materials that I have requested I can enhance and challenge.

My Project

My students will be able use these math materials to assist them with their daily Eureka math assignments so that they can develop concrete understanding of the skills that they are learning in Eureka math. The students will be able to understand how to utilize the skills by using hands on materials such as math journals, fraction circles, number lines, graphing and array chart to help the students to understand and explore the new Eureka math skills that they are learning in Third grade.

This project will make a difference to my students because they will be able to develop higher order and critical thinking skills in order to help them to develop stronger math skills.
