Help me give my students tools to utilize their creativity. Our seniors in our STEM magnet program are creating innovative capstone projects showcasing their inventive, problem solving skills. Creating personalized merchandise will showcase their designs at our exhibition.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our senior students are going to change the world, one project at a time. Showcasing their innovations will be enhanced by creating professional branding to market their ideas. In their capstone project, they have identified a real-world problem, working through plans to prototype, consulted with experts, and refined their work. In December, our senior engineering students will present their project plans to the public in our annual Fall exhibition.

In order to look professional with team identities students created brand names and logos.

The materials in this project will allow them to create customized merchandise in-house to market their designs in a professional manner.

The products selected will allow our teams to use crafting machines we already have on campus to their maximum capabilities. The vinyl will allow them to use our Cricut machine to design stickers and transfers of their logos. The sublimation merchandise including the cup press and transfer tape will allow us to use our sublimation printer and the heat transfer tape to print logos on t-shirts, mugs, caps, and water bottles. Having professional marketing materials aka “swag” will help to create the brand identities showcase their innovation projects at our senior exhibition.

Of course, no crafting space is complete without storage. The “Tuffy” 2 shelf AV cart is the perfect solution to place our printer or heat press and organize the the craft supplies and materials for creating our team’s custom logos. Because it is on wheels, our crafting room is not limited to one space - and can be moved to the location it is best serves our students and their projects.
