Markers allow for precise lines and intricate patterns, making them ideal for detailed work. Markers dry quickly, allowing for a faster workflow than some traditional painting media. Markers can be layered with other media like paint pens, gel pens, and colored pencils and even water colors too. Markers offer the convenience and control of a pen and all artists love coloring with markers.
In our art room we even make water color paint with old finished markers, so they are a super important tool to have in our art room.
