This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I'm a second grade teacher of 29 students in the Bronx. We are always doing thematic projects and culminating activity reading projects and we are very scarce on any art supplies, including markers. We have about 14 markers which students share with protest. Unfortunately, a simple thing like not enough markers has caused many arguments among the students in my class. It would be great if they could have enough art supplies to get in touch with their creative sides.
