Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our special needs kindergarten classroom, learning is active, visual, and hands-on. Every child learns differently, and having the right tools helps us meet each student where they are. Dry erase boards and markers are more than just supplies—they are flexible, engaging learning tools that support communication, creativity, and confidence.

With individual dry erase boards, my students can:

Practice letters, numbers, and shapes in a low-pressure, fun way.

Make mistakes and try again easily—no fear of "getting it wrong" because they can simply erase and start over.

Express themselves visually—especially helpful for students who are nonverbal or have limited communication skills.

Participate more actively in group lessons by holding up their boards to answer questions, show drawings, or share ideas.

Strengthen motor skills by writing, tracing, and drawing in a tactile, interactive format.

For young learners with special needs, the ability to work at their own pace, erase without judgment, and interact physically with learning materials makes a big difference in both understanding and confidence.

Your support will help bring these simple but powerful tools into our daily routine—making learning more accessible, responsive, and joyful for every student in our care.
