My Project
Through all my years of teaching, I have found my learners did better when they did lots of work on white boards. By helping fund this project, you will be helping my classes work towards the Building Thinking Classrooms framework, where learners work on Vertical Non Permanent Surface, or vertical whiteboards. Research shows that learners are more willing to take chances on math when they know their work is not "permanent" and can erase easily. White board markers are essential for this type of classroom framework because of how easy they are to erase and try again. Without white board markers, the thinking stops and the fear of math kicks in.
