This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is full of engaged, visual learners. My classroom does not have a smart board, unfortunately, so I use whiteboard markers (I'm pretty old school anyways!). We are constantly running out of whiteboard markers at my school.
My students love being able to color code their work and organize their notes with highlighters and other colorful tools.
If I have lots of colorful markers, I can model the use of these tools and distinguish between different parts of equations and expressions to make their work more clear. Students will be able to use the markers to show their work on our whiteboard. Also, many students like to write quick notes or calculations on their desks using whiteboard markers.
