Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Remember going to school and sitting for about 8 hours in a chair listening to the teacher. There will be times where you may want to learn and may not want to learn. My students are the exact same way.
Every single day, they always come prepared to learn new things.
Despite all the challenges they face at home, they enjoy the time listening/talking about what they learned in class and tying what they learned to their own experiences. Their drive to learn new topics in school never stops.
My Project
When it comes to school, it is always great to be prepared. There are good days where a student will always remember to bring their school necessities. There are also bad days when students do forget to bring their supplies. When this happens, their faces and mood changes as they are disappointed. Their whole day then becomes a mess.
By having these supplies in class, they will serve as a back-up so they are always ready to learn.
Always having the necessities in class is always important. Not everyone can buy the same things. With these materials in class, students will not feel left out if they do not have markers and said other materials that their other classmates have.
