My Students
Work never stops in our classroom! We wonder, research, and collaborate all day every day.
Fourth graders are super cool.
My students are energetically finding the way from "learning to" to "doing." Just as they are losing the last of their baby teeth, they are gobbling up chapter books, fractions, and geometry! They are becoming mapmakers, researchers, and very competent thinkers as they learn about their world and begin to explain it to others.
My Project
My students will be able to use these two Chromebooks to use math programs that differentiate each student's curriculum. They will be able to research quickly when they need an answer or want to see a photo or map to get a visual understanding of a concept. They will use these laptops to share their essays and to comment on the research of their fellow classmates.
There is not an hour in the day when my students are not grabbing a laptop to further their work.
We do not ever have enough laptops, and we know how to share them, but every addition to our classroom supply supports student productivity and efficiency in our classroom every day.
