My Students

My students are amazing. They have a love of learning and a love for each other. I would love to push them as far as they can go before they move on to kindergarten. Having them ready for kindergarten will give them a jump start to being a lifelong learner and someone who loves school.

My school is very diverse, and it is wonderful.

There are so many different cultures, values, and beliefs; it is incredible. I love spending time with the students, not just in my class, but the older kids as well. I learn a lot from them! Students, as well as teachers, look out for each other at school.

We are all team players and have each others' best interest at heart. I would love to be able to give my students everything they need to help them succeed inside and outside of the classroom. With these new materials, I can give them a better classroom and new experiences. We strive to become leaders in our building, and even though we are the youngest at our school, we are bright and determined to do our best possible work.

My Project

I was thinking about what could be a really cool STEM experience I could share with my students this year. I loved marble runs when I was younger and I thought my class might really enjoy working with marbles. Marble runs are amazing because each time you use them, there are infinite ways to put the run together. Students have to work together to figure out where to put pieces to have a successful run. This requires teamwork, community, communication, trial and error, that is a lot for 3-5 year olds. Yet I know they will be wildly successful with this. I can’t wait to see what kind of creations they come up with!
