Help me give my students maps, and materials to create maps of their own as we learn about the world.

My Project

I am requesting multiple hands-on resources to get maps in our kids' hands. We will use the Atlas books to put paper copies of real maps in students hands as we learn to understand how the world is connected. We will use them to study regions of the world. Small globes allow learners to hold the world in their hands. Markers, colored pencils and other classroom materials will allow students to create their own versions of maps at multiple scales as well as have students working collaboratively. My students were in second and third grade during the pandemic at home learning and did not get these hands-on materials in previous grades.
