This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are happy, fun-loving, and eager to learn!! Although we meet each day remotely, these Kindergarten kiddos are so enthusiastic about being in school. Each morning they begin the day with smiles and excitedly greet me and their new friends. They have built a fun, safe, and outgoing virtual classroom community.

Bursting with energy and curiosity, these Kindergarten kiddos love to dance and sing, create and explore while they learn!

Each day they become more engaged in learning and willing to take risks.

I look forward to providing endless opportunities for these young minds that are filled with excitement and a desire to learn!

My Project

After spending a year of teaching from home, I have seen the positive and effective results from each child having their own set of math manipullatives.

Little hands need lots of practice and engagement.

To provide each student with their own set means they will be engaged and encouraged, while decreasing the anxiety and aggression from limited resources. This means more time learning and discovering. Kindergarten is a foundational year and starting off with the right tools means starting off the year with success.
