Manipulatives to Foster Understanding of Math

Help me give my students clocks, 3D shape blocks, and counters to help them understand math, as well as stickers to reward my students for positive reinforcement!

My Project

My wonderful students are truly a kind, caring, and intelligent group of children that just love to learn each day! They greatly enjoy math but sometimes need manipulatives to foster and deepen their understanding of math concepts. Being able to put student clocks in their hands to help them understand how to tell time and how to model that on a clock would be so beneficial to them. They also really need 3D shapes so they can manipulate them to see the attributes, as well as to compose new shapes. The counters will help my students who are still working on math fluency.

Also, my sweet students just love being rewarded with scented stickers.

They work so hard for this and their faces light up when they know they are receiving this positive reinforcement. I would love to continue this for them by having new stickers for them.

Lastly, my aspiring writers also need new writing folders so they can have the materials they need to help scaffold their learning. These folders would allow each student to have a place for their writing drafts as well as word walls and more. This would positively impact their writing and help them to be more organized.
