This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Due to changes in the world we are trying to stay safe in the classroom. We use centers daily to work on our math and science skills. With multiple sets of manipulatives students will not need to share as often. They can also be sanitized in a more timely fashion for when my classes rotate.

Along with this our students suffered academically last year due to quarantining, covid, and virtual.

Our fourth graders will have to take the reading, math, and writing FSA this year. The learning gaps are very large and we are working hard to get them filled academically, socially, and emotionally.

My Project

Students are struggling with skills from the previous year. Games and manipulatives are great hands on tools that allow students to have fun while learning. Having multiple options allows for safer centers and easier to keep clean and sanitize between classes as well. Students this year have a lot to fill before we take the FSA in the Spring. Help us get to our goals with some awesome math items for our 4th grade classroom! We have 50 students between both classes that this will benefit! Thanks so very much!
