This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten students are captivated through the use of hands-on exploration opportunities. Our Kindergartener have had limited opportunities to be involved in hands-on learning. I intend to increase student learning through the hands-on learning.
My passion is to give each child the tools and experiences they need to begin thinking creatively and making a hypothesis like a scientist.
Our classroom is in need of materials and resources to help children engage in science through exploration. Students learn best when working collaboratively with one another while learning through discovery. I can't wait for our students to have the opportunity to engage using our STEAM bins!
