This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a special education classroom, it's crucial to approach manipulative activities with sensitivity and a clear educational purpose. Manipulatives are hands-on materials used to help students with special needs grasp abstract concepts and develop essential skills. Remember that each student is unique, and what works for one may not work for another! Manipulatives help with collaborative learning and real-life application. By providing a varied selection, I will be able to incorporate different sensory preferences and learning styles. Continuous observation, presentation and assessment will help to refine my approach to using manipulatives in the special education classroom to best meet the needs of mystudents.
