Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I adore my All-Stars! This project will help our younger students bridge the divide between picture books and chapter books. We need books in English and Spanish at an AR range of 2.0-2.9 that are easily accessible.

This project would provide new books to our library, book bins to make the books accessible by being front-facing and a darling book tree to hold new books.

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card would be used to purchase new activity plans for the library--including a Book Tasting activity! Students would view books in a setting reminiscent of an Italian restaurant. They would have an opportunity to view books, write down some comments and then create a "favorite books" list for future checkouts.

I love making reading fun! Please help me bring this project to my well deserving students.
