This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are all from various parts of New York, but one thing that brings them together is the love of art. Every student is passionate about art in one form or another, from painting to animation. Reading, on the other hand, is sometimes a strenuous task.
I want to get them to fall in love with reading by starting with something many of them already love, Manga/ Graphic Novels.
Your donations will help to fund our Graphic Novel/Manga Library. These books will be used for years to help students see the magic in reading.
