Help support our elementary school library's first project-based learning Manga & Comic Con! Our students will be taking on the roles of artists and costume designers. Our younger students will be tasked with making costumes for their favorite characters from sustainable materials. Our older students will be artists, creating their own manga or comic and other artistic products to replicate the artist alley experience.
This experience is intended to allow our students to engage with their favorite stories on a deeper level.
We also will be able to have discussions about sustainability, artistic creation, product development, and community building. This is a truly student-centered project that will impact all students.
Included in this project are multiple needed art supplies and tools and books to support student inquiry and ideas.
