This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious and engaged mathematicians. They love to show their learning through games and hands-on learning opportunities. These materials will allow all students to access and show their learning.
An engaging classroom is one that includes a variety of options.
The materials requested in this project will be used to allow students to make choices about the ways in which they learn. Whiteboards are an absolute favorite in my classroom. Students love to use them to keep track of their math work. It also saves paper!
The pouches, file organizers, and pens will be used in different centers and arranged in a way that students can choose what they need and find it when they need those materials.
