My Project
Help me get more books into my students hands about feelings and emotions and how to manage them. This is a major struggle with my students this year and I want them to be able to go on to 3rd grade with even more tools to help themselves through the social emotional feelings.
These books and area rug will give my students a place to go to and know they are safe and cared for while they are having BIG emotions that they don't understand how to handle.
I am hopeful that through the written word these lessons will stick with my students so when they get these big emotions they have more tools to manage them and bring them back to the whole group lesson faster. This is such a need right now with these students.
