Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are hard working children that love to showcase their talents. They revel in opportunities to show others what they know and what they have been working on! They love new things and get very excited about new challenges.
Our projects will focus on giving our students those challenges that will only enhance their education in all areas and make them better human beings.
They have the yearning and desire to become a better version of themselves in all areas and my music room will encourage this desire and fuel their enthusiasm!
My Project
We have a mish mash set of Orff instruments that do the trick when it comes to playing, however, some of our instruments are older and need a little help in the tone department because of their age and how they have been taken care of.
New mallets would really help with the tone quality of the instruments and allow the instrument to really carry a quality timbre and make sure that each part is heard to its fullest potential.
Many of the mallets we use now are not really made for that specific instrument and therefore really doesn't bring through the brightness of the instrument.
By making sure that each instrument has the proper set of mallets, it guarantees that no matter what instrument the students are playing at, their part will be heard clearly.
