Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have the opportunity to play a variety of different xylophone instruments in music class, and learning to play these barred instruments is often a highlight of the year! We are lucky to have over 20 high-quality instruments, but unfortunately, many of them are decades old and in need of repair.
By giving to our project, you will help to repair these beautiful instruments and make them accessible to students who haven't had the opportunity to experience playing them before.
This project will fund all the repair parts for our xylophone instruments, so they can be used this year and for years to come.
My students deserve the absolute best, and it is my goal to provide them with high-quality music education. Repairing these instruments will help to provide students with meaningful music-making experiences throughout the year.
