Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach seventh and eighth grade math in a predominately Hispanic school in urban school district. Most of my students are English Language Learners.

My students do not have all the materials they need to make them successful students. Middle school is a time that they need to develop their organizational skills, but without the materials it makes it difficult for the teachers to help develop the skills.

I am asking for binders, paper, dividers, and labels to help my students organize a notebook for my class. I provide my students with many handouts and it's nice to have someplace for them to hold them all. I am also asking for pencils and rulers for the students to use throughout the year.

You can help my students in the 2008-2009 school year learn the organizational skills that they can use throughout their life.
