This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarteners are full of energy and have a love of learning. I am always looking for fun ways to teach them how to write. Fine-motor can be challenging for some of my students. At times they will get frustrated and want to give up.

I looked for fun games like puzzles and tracing toys that will help increase their fine-motor skills and keep their interest.

One of the activities is a game where the students are using plastic tweezers to help feed a toy dog. This activity helps build fine motor control, and helps develop their eye-hand coordination while having fun. These skills are necessary building blocks for my students to become strong writers.

Please help us provide the tools necessary to help my students develop these skills. I know these wonderful games will instill a love of writing.
