Making Space for Every Learner to Shine

Help me give my students wobble chairs. Wobble chairs allow for safe, gentle movement that with attention and self-regulation while bean bags provide a space to relax and reset.

My Project

Wobble chairs and bean bags can make a huge difference in the learning experience for special education students by supporting their unique physical, sensory and emotional needs. Many special needs students struggle with sitting for long periods of time. Wobble chairs provide safe, subtle movement that helps students with ADHD, autism, or sensory processing needs stay engaged without disrupting the class. Bean bags provide deep pressure and a cozy, calming space-ideal for students who need a break or become overstimulated.

Wobble chairs and bean bags will provide sensory friendly seating options so that my students stay alert, calm, and ready to learn.

This will allow me the opportunity to design a classroom space where all students feel safe, supported, and physically comfortable, leading to increased confidence and participation.

My students are resilient, curious and full of heart. Each one brings a unique set of strengths and challenges to the classroom, and they remind me every day that learning doesn't look the same for everyone-and that's what makes it beautiful.
