This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Soccer is by far the most loved sport among my students. They’re passionate about playing, not just at school during recess or PE, but also in their free time and on local teams outside of school. Many of them use school as an opportunity to practice their skills, teach others the rules of the game, and build teamwork. While our school has generously provided us with soccer balls, we could take this experience to the next level with some basic equipment.

Scrimmage vests would help organize games more effectively, goalie gloves would encourage safe and enthusiastic participation, and an age-appropriate ball would support proper skill development.

An electric ball pump would also help us keep everything game-ready.

This gear would help our students play with more confidence, safety, and teamwork. It would make games more fun and organized, give them a chance to lead and learn from each other, and let them take even more pride in the sport they love.
