Making Science more meaningful with hands on tools
My students need hands on science related tools to help them understand more about animals, plants, matter, and force.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Cronk's classroom raised $268

Dear Donor,
Thank you for taking the time to read my request.
I am a first grade teacher in an urban school. I will have 14 boys and girls in my classroom for the upcoming school year. We are very busy learning many concepts in all subject areas during our school day.
I have found that my children thrive on having the tools available for them to see and touch items as we learn. This engages even the busiest child in the learning process. They may not grasp the concept the first time we talk about it, but they remember the bright games we played about using our senses or putting the puzzles together as we learning about animals or the seasons.
I am requesting several puzzle sets, a book library for a science unit, a pocket chart kit that allows the student to label the parts of the plant, a Five Senses Games, and a Sink or Float experiment.
Thank you for helping engage my students in the learning process.
