Making Science Fun and Hands On

Help me give my students items to be used in different labs for 8th graders, Water Bottle rockets, counting atoms and acid bases.

My Project

The items in my cart are to help the students understand some of the concepts we teach in 8th grade science. The launcher will help the water bottle rockets go farther so the students can predict trajectory and figure force using mass and acceleration.

The molecular kit will help the students understand a concept called counting atoms.

8th grade students struggle in this area every year and this will provide a hands on way of helping them understand.

The acid bases kit will allow them to safely do the acid bases lab. This is a new concept for them and they need all the hands on activities they can get in this area.

With budgets being low in the state of Texas due to the legislature not providing as many funds our budgets do not allow for us to get such materials as I have here.
