Making Remote Learning an Amazing Experience!

My Students

My students are 3-5 years old and share a love of adventure and wonder. We value play and discovery. Storytelling. Communication and curiosity. Natural and open-ended materials. Staying in inquiry. Getting messy. Love and laughter. Friendship and problem solving. Discovering new ideas. Taking risks. Challenging one another. Persistence. Creativity. Interpretation and reflection. Thinking about thinking.

Our classroom is a community of young learners striving to make meaningful connections with each other and their environment.

We believe that creativity inspires ideas and ideas are life.

My Project

An iPad will help me meet virtually with all students and is compatible with many platforms. It is easy to use and has a great camera so I will be clear to students when meeting virtually. Because an iPad has the most up to date education software, I will be able to utilize that to share with students and families when creating virtual lessons for remote learning. Most of my students have an iPad to use at home, so I will be able to guide them through learning activities using the same device. When back in the classroom, an iPad will help me and my students create and share learning content with others. It is completely compatible with the learning platforms for online teaching as well being able to integrate in the classroom when in person learning resumes. This device will help me navigate the new waters of Remote Learning and provide my students the best experience available.
