My students need 8 packages of Laguna Dry-Hard Self-Hardening Clay in order to experience sculpture projects without glazes and a kiln.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Fains's classroom raised $693
This project is fully funded
Hello. I teach middle school general art classes. I have mostly seventh graders this school year, but I also teach grades six and eight. We are a very diverse population in a wonderful and supportive community.
I have very large class sizes and purchasing materials on a small budget can be tricky at times. For students to have well-rounded art experiences I like to expose them to many types of media and methods. It can be difficult to teach ceramics with costly clays, without glazes and no access to a working kiln.
I wish to give my students meaningful ceramics experiences using air-dry clays that can be painted and sealed to make them water-resistant. No firing involved and much time and costs spared! The clays are non-toxic and easy to sculpt and mold. I believe the students will enjoy them immensely.
Your donations will provide my students with an opportunity to experience a meaningful and fulfilling ceramics unit. Your generosity will be much appreciated. Thank You.
