This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember how excited you were to be able to take your own pictures? How much fun it was to share your photos with family and friends.

I work at a Title I school where 98% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch.

I am an art teacher and teach visual and performing arts to pre-k through 5th grade. My students are very artistic and have great ideas that would be great to have in their portfolios.

My Project

I plan on using the camera in a variety of different ways. Each one of my students has a portfolio. Some of our projects are too big to put in our portfolio so I want to give the students the opportunity to snap a picture. The printer and ink will be used to print out the pictures. I would like to have a memory card for each grade level to stay organized. And it is important to keep our camera safe with a camera case.

Many of my students are not given any other opportunity to use a camera other than at school. Your support will help my students cherish their hard work in their portfolios.
