Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

An organized and comforting classroom will help my students to feel safe and happy at school. Without comfort, they will not be available for learning to the best of their ability. It is important to me that my classroom is a place where students feel comfortable to relax and learn at the same time.

The classroom rug is the most important piece of furniture in the room for primary students.

It is where we spend the majority of our day, sitting and laying together while learning. With this rug, students each get their own spot to spread out, while keeping personal space. The bright colors will make the room feel homey and fun.

Storage bins will help me to keep extra school supplies organized and ready for any student who may need replacements. Our school provides almost all of the supplies for our students, and having an organized surplus is very appreciated.
