My Project
Learning how the play and instrument is something that will impact a child for their entire life. Music is essential for the brain, allowing one to express themselves creatively and emotionally. Additionally, music is essential for the soul, our well-being, and stimulating cognitive thinking skills.
Our middle school in Brooklyn, NY has never had a band or jazz program.
We are looking to start one for the first time where students cannot afford to purchase their own equipment.
Our students come from all over the world and need the gift of music. Creating a new band program with saxophones, clarinets, trombones, trumpets & flutes give our students more choice in the arts and an opportunity to express themselves in new ways.
