Making Music Musical

Help me give my students the opportunity to perform on a vibraphone mallet instrument.

My Project

I love that my students are willing to try almost anything. Their curiosity for music and learning is exciting. Purchasing a vibraphone will allow band students to perform lyrical pieces that call for a vibraphone or marimba, two instruments we do not own.

My goal for this project it’s to teach all the percussion students how to perform musically.

We will use the instrument in elementary, middle school and high school band as well as in small group band ensembles such as a mallet ensemble.

My students are special because they are hardworking, responsible and creative. I would love to give them the opportunity to perform and create on a vibraphone. We are a small school where students participate in many activities. I want to provide my students the opportunity to perform and experience the wonderful tone of a vibraphone and how it can enhance our instrumental performances.
